Another TGTGG review, introducing CURSED ARROWS, TMA news, and Play Guitar

Posted:

Hello cruel world,

TGTGG got reviewed by our friends over at junnnktank.com. Hurrah for enthusiasm! The band is back from tour which was apparently stellar.

We've made out first entirely out of province signing - we'd like to introduce Ontario's CURSED ARROWS to our little fam-jam.  As I write this, I am listening to their new album (freshly mastered) and having my mind blown.  The album (details forthcoming) comes out in October.  Kestrels played a few shows with these guys in September 08 and they were jaw droppingly good.  This album is going to be king...samples soon.

The Play Guitar LP was momentarily lost in a binary black hole but is at the pressing plant.  We'll start up a special pre-order soon which will be similar to what you've seen for Kestrels and TGTGG.  The album is a split label release between Noyes and Coraille in Germany. Christian and the band have been working incredible hard on making this album really unique, which will make more sense when you see the pressing.  This album was mastered by Bob Weston of Shellac (for the nerds).

The Memories Attack (now backed with Jim from VKNGS and K. Parlee from The Maynards) are going to be playing Pop Montreal this year. More details soon!
